Typifying the plight of the cities, the half of Detroit where blacks lived was excluded outright, as was a third of Chicago. Despite its shortcomings, New Deal innovation helped account for home ownership rising from 40 percent of the population in the prosperous 1920s to almost 70 percent by the mid-1990s, with vast new tracts outside the cities of the Northeast and in new, sprawling urban areas in the South and Southwest setting the most conspicuous example. The historian David Kennedy did not exaggerate in claiming that the HOLC and the housing legislation it set in motion "revolutionized the way Americans lived. " BIBLIOGRAPHY Gelfand, Mark I. NetFlow gives you deep network visibility Flow analysis tools are the most commonly deployed network visibility tools in the IT service management world. Alternatives include deep packet inspection, which tends to be overkill on most networks, and active monitoring, which as the name implies introduces an unnecessary load on the network. The biggest advantage to using flow analysis is that you almost certainly have NetFlow or IPFIX support on network devices already—you simply need to activate it and point its output to a collector. Installing flow analysis is easy and relatively inexpensive. Extra hardware is almost never needed. Configuration is limited to a few nodes on the network and can be completed in a few minutes with zero downtime. This means you can quickly add flow analysis to the network and instantly gain vital insights into all traffic flows. In the example below, configuring NetFlow on the main router connected to the internet (R1) lets you monitor all the traffic in and out of the company, and to watch for any attacks on the servers in the DMZ.

(It's a process. ) Where Does a Router Fit in? Yes. Routers matter. That box full of ports collecting dust in your living room is translating data to connect you to the internet, as well as keeping you safe via firewall. In its simplest form, routing is what we call the process of forwarding IP packets from network to network. You probably know a router as the device you set up to obtain internet access. To do that, your router is actually joining networks and routing traffic between them like a switchboard. To join networks, a router uses network cards, each one physically connected to a network and communicating with one another across the IP system to ensure data is moved to and from the correct endpoints. This means that when you visit the TeleGeography homepage, a packet of data comes from your computer and another packet is recieved by it, which loads your request. This communication bounces between two endpoints, all because routers transmitted and guided this information. Related: you might also be interested in knowing about Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), a specific protocol that exchanges information between autonomous systems on the internet.
If you feel like trying for planetary instead, a good high-speed planetary camera will be an obvious upgrade choice there. With scope like yours and good planetary camera you can get some really good images of our Solar System neighbours, even from severely light-polluted areas. You could also try piggy-backing the camera on your current scope and using that for widefield imaging. Alternative solution would really depend on your budget. You can get a simple tracker for your DSLR and use it with lens to get some pretty wide field images of large nebulae, or Milky Way. These will normally run you $300-400, but you'll need to source a tripod separately. A telescope-based DSO imaging setup would involve acquiring another mount, new or second hand. Something in the class of HEQ-5/Sirius will be a good starting point. You could find those second-hand for $600-800. For telescope, a small 80mm refractor will probably be the most widely recommended starter scope around here. Flattener/reducer will be a highly recommended accessory for those, too.
