We provide confidential support services and information for domestic and sexual violence survivors and their friends and family through our 24-Hour Hotline. In addition, we provide the following services: Intake services for our shelter program. Information and referrals for survivors and their concerned friends and family members. Immediate assistance in English and Spanish. If there are no staff available that speak the preferred language, then the caller would be assisted through the use of Language Line Solutions. (800) 752-6096 Medical Accompaniment Advocates are on 24-hour call in order to accompany and advocate for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault at local hospitals.
The Crisis Hotline is staffed by specially trained Behavioral Health professionals who provide callers immediate and confidential assistance. After a crisis call or a crisis assessment, follow-up services are arranged with the outpatient offices. The Crisis Hotline staff provides additional support for individuals who may need assistance when outpatient offices are closed for the day. The patient's counselor organizes this type of supportive call. Individuals can also directly contact the Hotline staff at any time. The Hotline also serves as an information and referral resource for those who are searching for other agencies and organizations that provide community support. Anyone experiencing a mental health or chemical addiction crisis, may access Firelands Counseling and Recovery Services through the Crisis Hotline at 1-800-826-1306, or by calling any of the Firelands Outpatient Behavioral Health offices. These services are funded in part by the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Erie and Ottawa Counties, the Huron County Board of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties.

Calls usually last about 20 minutes since we are not therapists, but you are welcome to call back should you need more listening and support.
