Program Aims The UCSD Pediatric Hematology Oncology Fellowship Program trains our fellows to: Deliver comprehensive, high quality, evidence based patient care. Conduct novel research that will impact the health of pediatric patients with hematologic or oncologic disorders. He received his medical degree from the University of Rochester in New York, where he completed his general surgery internship and orthopedic residency. James performs joint reconstruction and repair procedures. He has special interests in ACL reconstruction, sports medicine, and the specialty care of the knee, shoulder, and elbow. He specializes in treating fractures, tendon and ligament tears, and disease and inflammation. James is trained to perform advanced, minimally invasive procedures to bring pain relief and improve his patient's mobility. His practice is also available in two locations within Fort Worth.
