Hey guys! I hope the new year is going much better than 2020. If not, stay hopeful:) I'm in need of a graphics designer who is extremely good at designing flyers and Ad banners for websites and social media (Facebook & IG). Got a lot of work for you - or two of you. My rate is FROM $350 per design. Not sure if this is too low or too high. However, I'm open to paying more for the right designer(s). I don't care much about experience; it's more about having skill. Therefore, I need you to prove your skill by showcasing some of your samples (3 are enough). I'd like to see designs that you've done for actual corporate clients. Some people just steal templates online and pretend that they designed them! Please DON'T chat me. And your message should only contain your name, the amount you charge per graphic, 2-3 links to your samples and your email address. I don't want you to tire writing long proposals that I promise NOT to read:) Only those shortlisted will be contacted. Thank you for your time!
Another caveat: If the initial owner of a whole life policy passes away within three years of transferring ownership to another individual or trust, the value of the policy typically is included in his or her estate for federal estate tax purposes. One way to avoid this is for the owner to surrender the policy, purchase a new one and name a trust or another individual as the owner. Choosing Beneficiaries Along with structuring ownership of a policy, choosing an appropriate beneficiary is key. If no beneficiary is designated, the owner's estate may become the default beneficiary. The proceeds could be used to pay creditors and would count against the estate-tax exemption limit. It's also critical to regularly update the designated beneficiary. For instance, if a child remains a beneficiary even after pre-deceasing a parent, that child's children — the insured's grandchildren — might not be entitled to a share of the death benefit. Instead, the money that would have gone to that child could be divided among the surviving adult children.
