Looking for a nice, heavy stock? Allow us to recommend our standard, 92% bright white, heavy 14pt & 16pt paper stock. As a reference the 16pt paper stock is about half the thickness of an actual credit card (Visa/MasterCard). Coating Matte Coat Matte Coat is an elegant, dull, glare-free, protective coating that's applied to the printed side(s) of the business cards. Need Spot Gloss? Spot gloss is a glossy coating that is only applied to a specific section of the business card. The selected area is singled out and coated with a glossy finish while the rest remains matte. The goal of this process is to give your card some contrast by highlighting both the matte coat and the spot gloss.
Earlier this summer, it was announced on the Coverity Blog and via Andy Chou's Tweet that Coverity Code Spotter Beta is available. That 8 July 2014 blog post describes Coverity Code Spotter as "a free and simple to use cloud-based service built upon Coverity source code analysis technology for finding often hard-to-detect bug-causing issues in Java source code. " The blog post also states that "for the duration of the beta period, participants are welcome to upload as much code as they would like and submit builds for analysis as often as they would like. Yesterday 's (29 September 2014) press release (issued in conjunction with JavaOne 2014), "Coverity Launches Code Spotter™ in Free Beta Version to Speed Defect Detection in Java Code, " restates some of these observations regarding Coverity Code Spotter. It states, "Built on Coverity's static code analysis technology, Code Spotter is available for free to the software development community during the beta period. " The press release, like the July blog post, describes the types of issues in Java code that Code Spotter detects: "the most common and critical issues in Java code bases, including resource leaks, race conditions, concurrency issues, control flow issues, null pointer dereferences, issues detected by the open source FindBugs tool, copy and paste errors, and many other software defects resulting in incorrect or unpredictable program behavior. "
A few years ago, I posted a list of the US national parks that included whether each was within speculative range of a super charger. A lot has happened in the supercharging world and it's time for an update! I changed up the criteria a bit this time to make it more realistic and interesting. Every route must be a round trip and has to take a worthy, interesting path through the park (if available), and not just a single landmark as I did last time. I also plotted the routes in evtripplanner as evidence of possibility, so the trips now take elevation into account as well as mileage. I assumed an S85 with 19" tires, and left all other values as default. So take this with a few grains of salt as your results driving through Death Valley when it's 130 degrees might not match what I have here. However, if you follow any of the links, you can tweak the parameters and see how you'd do given your vehicle and conditions. Also note that I am only considering supercharging. Some "unreachable" parks are actually reachable using RV sites or other destination charging.
You are here: Home / Blog / Louis C. K. on Cell Phones September 21, 2013 By Ben Leave a Comment This is one of the funniest and most insightful clips I've seen recently. Lately I've been trying to drive without listening to an audiobook or music on my phone, as in the silence, which I usually avoided, I find my mind generally wanders to an interesting insight on something. And though I agree with Louis CK entirely on cell phones, I still found myself at a Verizon store last night getting the latest iPhone which I don't need, but still felt compelled to buy. About Ben Ben Nesvig is an author, writer, idea spreader, and creative dabbler.

Harvard's president, Lawrence Bacow, said in a statement that colleges were being pressured via the new ICE policy to open "on-campus classrooms for in-person instruction this fall without regard to concerns for the health and safety of students, instructors, and others. " Colleges in states that have taken a more aggressive approach to reopening may feel pressure to avoid online options. And of course there's the prospect of the coming college football season, with thousands of empty stadium seats not generating revenue and publicity for the alma mater. Multimillion dollar coaching contracts don't pay for themselves. Many university faculty are alarmed by the prospect of returning to campus, particularly those who are older or medically at risk. After intense criticism, the University System of Georgia reversed a policy that would have strongly "encouraged" the use of masks in classrooms instead of mandating them. University decision-making continues to evolve along with the latest public health statistics and knowledge about disease transmission.
